I started building websites as a hobby in the early 2000s, and enjoyed it so much that I decided to make a career out of it. I have spent the past 19 years developing websites and software professionally. I'm located in the Great Lakes region of the United States.

PHP/Laravel has been my primary language over the years, but lately I've been digging into Python and working with big data, AI/ML, and vector search.

My favorite type of work is improving developer experience. I love building/improving processes, CI/CD pipelines, tuning infrastructure, developer tooling, etc. If there's an inefficiency somewhere, I'm bound to notice it.

I also enjoy refactoring and migrating legacy applications. I can quickly jump into just about any codebase and be productive. The first day I was exposed to RPG, I was fixing bugs in production.
